Inner Satisfaction

Psalm 23:1

"I SHALL NOT WANT "THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD, I SHALL NOT WANT."

David, the author of this Poem suffering from difficult affliction. How would you react if you are in a difficuld situation of your life, specially while serving the Lord? What kind of satisfaction David found in the Lord? in times of trouble?

It is not material satisfaction for Slomon said, "Everything is meaningless." Material things can't give us contentment and real peace. Whether you are a follower of Christ or not you will face problems, tragedies, afflictions, frustrations, etc. These are all realities of life. But real peace of mind, contentment and satisfaction, as well as real joy only comes from the Lord Jesus Christ for He said, " I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble, but take heart, I have overcome the world." John 16:33

Jesus is the Good shepherd who gives delight to his flock. For him there is no greater reward, no deeper satisfaction, that that of seeing his sheep contented, well fed, safe and flourishing under his care. Jesus never fails.
